SUMMER SKATE CAMP - NH (WEEK #2, JR. HIGH SCHOOL)

AntiGravity Skate teamed up with the Southern New England District (SNED) of the Assembly of God Churches for week #2 of skate camp on pipes, ramps and rails in the AntiGravity mobile street course. Rhino Bike Works from Plymouth, NH hooked us up with a great price on 12 complete skateboards...decks, grip tape, hardware, trucks, bearings and wheels! Thank you Rhino Bike Works!

 

SUMMER SKATE CAMP - NH (WEEK #1, HIGH SCHOOL)

AntiGravity Skate teamed up with the Southern New England District (SNED) of the Assembly of God Churches for a week of camp with skateboarding on pipes, ramps and rails in the new AntiGravity mobile street course.

 

GROTON SKATE JAM (DAY TWO) - GROTON, CT

AntiGravity Skate worked for the second week in a row with the Seaport Community Church of Groton, CT.

Kicking off at 3 PM, nearly 90 skaters and BMX'ers joined us for the FREE afternoon event with plenty of free hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks for everyone attending.

AntiGravity Skate also hosted our second 'Best Trick on the Picnic Table' skateboarding contest. First and second place trophies were awarded to the winners. Additional prizes were cash gift cards from Zumiez.

Select raffle participants were awarded two AntiGravity Skate complete boards with trucks, wheels, bearings and hardware purchased from Zumiez and assembled on site. Board repairs and sales were also provided by Zumiez of Waterford.

GROTON SKATE JAM (DAY ONE) - GROTON, CT

AntiGravity Skate teamed up with the Seaport Community Church of Groton, CT to bring you a FREE afternoon of BMX riding, skateboarding, Skate Church and our first ever skate contest at the Groton Summer Skate Jam #1.

Launched at 3 PM, more than 60 skaters and BMX'ers enjoyed hours of riding, grinding and extreme adventure with plenty of free hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks for everyone attending.

AntiGravity Skate also organized a 'Best Trick on the Picnic Table' skateboarding contest. First and second place trophies were awarded to the winners.

CLINTON SKATE PARK CLEAN-UP DAY - CLINTON, CT

AntiGravity Skate, and a crew of hard working volunteers, organized a community service clean-up project at the Clinton, CT Skate Park. The work included picking up trash, separating the recycling from the trash, sweeping and leaf blowing the entire skate park as well as raking around the perimeter fence.

We had a great turnout and finished with everything by 10:30AM. Everyone stayed and skated the park for another couple of hours with us.

 

SUMMER STROLL AND SKATEBOARDING - OLD SAYBROOK, CT

AntiGravity Skate teamed up with the Old Saybrook Main Street Business Association and OSPD D.A.R.E. to bring the community a FREE afternoon of BMX riding and skateboarding our halfpipe and mobile street course.

 

GO SKATEBOARDING DAY - OLD SAYBROOK, CT

Over 90 skaters joined AntiGravity Skate as we celebrated International GO SKATEBOARDING DAY! Everyone had a chance to shred the world's largest truck-mounted half pipe. Check out the images of our new street skate obstacles: A picnic table and a 12 foot bench (both with plastic decking material as the skate surface). We also cristened the 8 foot wide portable wall ride. We are so thankful that Zumiez was on hand for sales and repairs and Vitamin Water blessed us all with free samples on a very hot day!

 

COMMUNITY OUTREACH IN WARE, MA

AntiGravity Skate travelled to Ware Community Church in Ware, MA for a youth outreach event. The place was packed out with great kids and zero attitudes. Thanks for having us Ware, MA...we can't wait to come back! View BMX/skate street course images from this event.



COMMUNITY OUTREACH IN NORWICH, CT

AntiGravity Skate recently teamed up with Norwich Assembly of God for a FREE session of skateboarding pipes, ramps and rails in the new portable skate park/street course. The CT-based Worship Skateboard Team was on hand for a demo that ripped. View images from the skateboard/BMX half pipe and street course event.

 

MEMORIAL DAY PICNIC IN LEDYARD, CT

Friendship Community Assembly of God in Ledyard, CT and Valley Shore Assembly of God in Old Saybrook, CT hosted a Memorial Day picnic for members of both churches to celebrate the day. We reached out to the local community of skaters where we saw some awesome talent on both the half-pipe and the portable skate park. This was the first time we used our new portable street course for skateboarding and BMX. Click here for images.

 

TAILGATE PARTY FOR YOUTH CONVENTION - AGAWAM, MA

The AntiGravity Skate truck-mounted half pipe was requested at the tailgate party for the Southern New England District of the Assemblies of God churches. Over 1,100 youth from were present for a two-hour skate/BMX session. Click here for more skateboard and some BMX photos from this event.
